Razão e linguagem na ética de Richard Hare

El artículo presenta las tesis meta-éticas de Richard Hare, desvelando principalmente la relación entre razón y lenguaje. A partir de esta relación, Hare consolida su visión de la ética explicitando la especificidad del lenguaje moral y oponiéndose a los reduccionismos naturalistas e irracionalistas. Hare considera que su teoría meta-ética, a saber, el prescriptivismo universal, aliado a un utilitarismo reformulado (utilitarismo de preferencias), puede dar cuenta de varios dilemas morales.
Summary
This article examines the relationship between reason and language, based on two meta-ethics thesis of Richard Hare. The way in wich Hare relates these two themes is shown to consolidates his own point of view of Ethics, bringinging about the discussion on moral language and, furthermore, rejecting the naturalist and irracionalist reducionisms. The author argues that his meta-ethics theory, named the Universal Prescritivism, allied to a reformulated Utilitarianism (Preference’s Utilitarianism) might addresses some moral conflits.
