Grateful to each of the colleagues who entrusted the fruit of their work to our magazine, I am pleased to present a new issue of DavarLogos. Javier Aznar-Sala, opening the first issue of this year, examines the image and concept of God that emerges from the interaction between him and his chosen people, Israel. The Deity is discovered present every step of the way, configuring the daily life of the people and giving it meaning. According to Aznar-Sala, the God of Israel is not blurred behind the inherent limitations of human thought, but rather actively participates with saving purposes in the life of Israel; divine intervention carrying a profound existential impact. Ekkehardt Mueller, contributing a text on his specialty, investigates the close and broader literary context of Revelation 14, 6-12. Having given consideration to the message of the three angels, he explored the Johannine document in search of other pronouncements that would allow us to elucidate that of the book as a whole. By virtue of this, and as a corollary, he warns against certain reductionist readings that end up weighing the triple angelic message to the detriment of other equally relevant announcements of the last book of the New Testament canon. Finally, Douglas Reis offers us a systematic analysis of the contributions of O. R. L. Crosier and J. N. Andrews to the doctrine of the sanctuary, paying special attention to its soteriological implications in the context of the theology of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Leandro J.
