Domestic constraints and the foreign policy agenda: reconfigurations of the Argentine energy problem (2003–2015)

The interruption of the Argentine energy supply in the summer of 2003-2004 propelled the energy problem as a topic of the governmental agenda of the period 2003-2015. This article analyzes this issue from the perspective of the foreign policy agenda since it was impacted by such domestic difficulties. In this sense, through a general qualitative strategy, the objective is to focus on the energy problem as a topic of the external agenda and analyze how it varied and conditioned foreign policy between 2003 and 2015.
