This paper examines apocalyptic expectation in the Dead Sea Scrolls and its reception within contemporary Adventist theology. It analyzes the eschatological worldview of Qumran, emphasizing its ethical dualism, messianic hope, and communal understanding of cosmic conflict. Drawing on textual analysis and recent scholarship, it compares these elements with Adventist eschatology, highlighting thematic parallels alongside significant historical and theological differences. It argues that a critical and contextually grounded engagement with Qumran literature can enrich Adventist hermeneutics while preserving confessional identity.
