Resumen

Este estudio reflexionará sobre el empleo de los ágrafa en El Deseado de todas las gentesde Ellen G. White. ¿Cuáles son el uso, función y teología que presentan? En esta etapa del proceso de investigación se analiza la frecuencia y localización (etapa exploratoria) y se propone una primera valoración del material (etapa descriptiva). Se concluye con la exposición de posibilidades de investigación en el futuro y, a su vez, se plantean las implicaciones conceptuales con relación al constructo "interpretación" y el Espíritu de la Profecía (etapa asociativa). Se entiende que la investigación es de relevancia porque nos permite identificar cualidades de los textos de Ellen G. White que superan el concepto de Biblia reescrita y, por otro lado, permiten detectar la interna coherencia con el texto bíblico. A su vez, manifiesta valores literarios que fortalecen la confianza en sus materiales. AbstractThis study will consider the use of agrapha in Ellen G. White’s The Desire of Ages. What are their use, function and theology? At this stage of the research process the frequency and localization (exploratory phase) of the agrapha will be analyzed and a preliminary appraisal of the material will be given (descriptive phase). It will con clude proposing possible future research projects. At the same time, conceptual implications are proposed between the “interpretation” construct and the Spirit of Prophecy (associative phase).This research is relevant because it enables the identification of certain qualities in Ellen G. White’s writings that go beyond the rewriting of Scripture. Moreover, these qualities help identify the internal coherence of the writings with the biblical text. Finally, these qualities show literary values that strengthen the reader’s confidence in Ellen G. White’s published materials.
