“PARA QUE SU IGLESIA FLOREZCA”: FACTORES QUE PROMUEVEN EL CRECIMIENTO DE IGLESIA. PARTE I

Abstract

El crecimiento de iglesia es complejo. Las iglesias que más crecen tienen características diversas, algunas coincidentes y otras no. El artículo repasa primeramente estudios que revelan las características más comunes entre las iglesias crecientes, utilizando datos bibliográficos y estadísticos. Se menciona un total de diez factores importantes. Luego se desarrolla la primera característica de las iglesias crecientes, es decir el liderazgo visionario, de servicio y capacitador. El estudio es respaldado con testimonios prácticos de iglesias evangélicas y adventistas florecientes que detectan este primer detonante del crecimiento. AbstractChurch growth is complex. The fastest growing churches exhibit different characteristics, some identical and some not. The article firstly provides a review of studies that suggests the most common church-growth characteristics, utilizing bibliographical and statistical resources. Ten important church-growth factors can be identified. Secondly, the study focuses upon the first important factor of growing churches, namely the visionary, service-oriented and capacitating leadership. The article makes use of practical testimonies from growing Evangelical and Adventist churches that highlight the first “growth explosive”.
