Abstract

This article approaches discursive characterization of a corpus that has been considered a “dark continent” of textual analysis, such as procedural texts and genres of incitement to action, based on what was formulated by the French linguist Jean-Michel Adam in his work Texts: Types and prototypes (from its first edition in 1992 to the last in 2017). This work constitutes an updated review of a textual set that complements the theory of textual sequences ―widely known in our field―, as well as the approach of some educational and investigative implications of this theoretical proposal.
