Abstract

In this paper, the aspects of Catholic hermeneutics from the Council of Trent to thepromulgation of Verbum Domini by Pope Benedict XVI will be analyzed in a descriptive,panoramic and documentary way. The purpose of this panoramic study isto examine the development of Catholic hermeneutics to extract recommendationsbased on a critical observation that can stimulate hermeneutical reflection in the Adventistworld, considering the dangers or possible implications of the hermeneuticaldynamization observed in Roman Catholicism since the Counter-Reformation.
