Abstract

This article addresses the Christological implications of Revelation 1,17-18 with a special focus on the divine dominion over death. The authority that the text attributes to the Son of Man, as a messianic title, over life and death, will be considered. For this purpose, an exegetical study of the Greek text will be carried out under the assumptions of the linguistic-theological method.
