Personal devotion practices — Experiences in educational environments — Practical orientations — Structured exercisesAbstract
In this article, experiences in educational and ecclesiastical settings aimed at promoting personal devotion practices are shared. The activities are structured around four key areas: (1) Recommendations for activity coordinators, (2) practical guidance on prayer and devotional Bible reading, (3) identification and overcoming of potential challenges in the application of Scriptures, and (4) development of structured personal devotion exercises. The design process is described and the results of a pilot study that evaluated the impact of personal devotion workshops with measurements before and after its realization together with comparisons with a control group are mentioned. Finally, the Reading, orientations and exercise booklet that was used and served as a guide of the experiences is included in the annex.Downloads
