Abstract

For a long time, the figure of the Behemoth has been a mystery. Its anatomy and meaning has been debated in forums and books, but in this article, we have delved into the subject. During the study of this creature, we have gathered information that has given us the opportunity to talk about this being as a real animal with serpentiform characteristics and symbolic representative of Satan. It should be clarified that this article is a summary and adaptation of a thesis in which an exegetical study of Job 40,15-23 was carried out, explaining why God used this animal in his second speech to Job. This creature helps us to dimension the struggle of the Christian in the time of the end.
