Abstract

The purpose of this article is to review the history, achievements, and legacy of the Adventist Society for Theological Research. In order to achieve this, this paper begins by mentioning the background that existed of this organization, especially those investigative activities developed and carried out by students. Then the story of its foundation, as well as its operation and academic activities is retold. Subsequently, the origin and results of the periodic publications published by this society are described. It concludes with some reflections.
