Music in the presence of a Holy God: Principles for religious music based on the biblical concept of holiness

Abstract

This article analyzes the biblical concept of God’s holiness and its implications forworship in general and religious music in particular, based on the report of the worshipthat angels give to God in heaven, especially the one recorded in Isaiah 6 and Revelation 4. It contains general principles and practical applications for religiousmusic and worship music.
