In a new effort, perhaps characteristic of the author of this work, a simple theological analysis of a national literary piece is presented here. In this case, references to the realm of the sacred are observed in the work of the poet Rafael Obligado concerning Argentine legends. Before proceeding, it is necessary to provide a brief overview of Obligado’s life and work, as well as an outline of his aesthetic contribution to Argentine literature.
