Seventh-day Adventists are promoters of a healthy lifestyle and have devoted special attention to the study of lifestyle in individuals professing the Adventist faith and in non-Adventists. However, the Adventist Health Study shows, among other findings, that the percentage of obesity and overweight is similar between the Adventist
and non-Adventist population. This study aims to study the relationship between lifestyle, waist circumference and body mass index in Adventist pastors residing in Libertador San Martín, Entre Ríos, Argentina. The instrument used was a survey designed in Google Forms. The design was descriptive, retrospective, and cross-sectional. Based on the results obtained, it was possible to identify the characteristics of the population and components of the pastoral lifestyle, among which it was found that most of the studied population is overweight and grade I obese, and a lifestyle score categorized as “regular”.
