The legal status of religious communities in Argentina is ruled by constitutional and international norms originated in different historical periods: the 1853/60 Constitution, the 1966 Concordat and the international treaties incorporated to the Constitution by the 1994 amendments. The relation between all those legal sources is not simple, even if the Patronato system at odds with the 1966 Concordat was eliminated from the Constitution in 1994.Downloads
